She was born in Çeşme. She completed her primary and secondary education in Izmir. She started her higher education at the History Department of the Faculty of Letters at Ege University in the academic year 1986 and graduated in 1990. She started her postgraduate education at the Yeniçağ Department of the Institute of Social Sciences at Ege University in the academic year 1990-1991 and completed her PhD in 1992 and completed her PhD in 1999. In 11. X. 1990, she started working as a faculty member at the Department of Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution at Ege University. Between 2001-2002, she transferred to the Department of Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution at Balıkesir University. In 2002, she was appointed assistant professor to the Yeniçağ Department of the History Department of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Balıkesir University. On June 21, 2004, he was appointed Head of the Department of Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution at Balıkesir University. She worked as a visiting Associate professor at Abay State University in Almaty, Kazakhstan, between 2005 and 2008. She was promoted to Associate Professor in 2006 and, after a lengthy hiatus, to Professor in 2020.
She is a member of the academic working groups of Pre- and Post-Ottoman Studies (CIEPO) and the Academic Association of Altaic Community. He participated in the 2004 Western Principalities Symposium on behalf of Balıkesir University and in the 2007 International Symposium on Common Cultural Values of Kazakhstan and Turkey in Kazakhstan, held on May 21-23, 2007. She has participated in international symposiums organized by various institutions and universities, including the Turkish Historical Society, Atatürk Research Center, CIEPO, the Academic Association of Altaic Community, Abay University, and Ege University. Her papers have been published and she has represented her university with papers in countries such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, North Macedonia, Croatia, Poland, and Greece. Her articles have been published in journals such as Ege University Journal of Historical Studies, Journal of Turkish World Studies, Abay Haberşı-Vestnik, Turkish Homeland, Turkish-Islamic Civilization Academic Research, Academic History and Thought Journal.
